Band is a collection of virtual instruments that lets you play and record your own tunes from a simple interface.
As well as a piano, bass guitar, and drums, Band also features the innovative "Twelve Bar Blues" instrument, that enables anyone to play blues backing and guitar solos.
This app was released in 2008 as one of the very first musical instruments, and indeed one of the very first apps, for the iPhone.

Good job getting this ready for the app store Mark. Great software well worth the money.
I think this is worth $10 but I would want a manual guitar instead of chords if they had that it would be a 5 star app in my option. I could play real guitar and not a bass.
i like this application but it needs more notes on the 12 bar blues
This is a good app but it should have an electric guitar but great job hope there will be lots of updates:)
this game is absolutley amazing, ESPECIALLY now that its only 2$. This is probably the best deal on a game ive gotten thus far, so get it while u can!
I really like this app, its good for when you have nothing else to do, but i think the one big turn off i had was the guitars, the bass, you cant really play much with that, and the blues guitar, its just really annoying sounding. i think for the guitars they should have used something similar to pocket guitar. still fun drums and piano though.
Some bad moments
The bass sounds (repetitive) are great. The riffs to add in 12 Bar Blues are awfull. Rock kit is fine as funky drummer. Bassist is not playable. Grand Piano is not as good as the sound in Pianist.... This app could be better.
I downloaded this app several months ago under iPhone OS 2.1. Now the new Band upgrade isnt compatible with my iPhone anymore. I dont see why I should be forced to upgrade my firmware just because of one app ! Unfair waste of money !

It seemed like an interesting idea, but the actual product is weak and most importantly...not fun!
Biggest waste of $10 ever. Dont buy unless your really into music recording and even then its just to kill time
Its a good thing I waited an extra day before buying this app-If I gotit yesterday, I wouldve paid $6..its not even worth the $2 I actually paid. Its no more than a toy..the "instruments" were truly disappointing. You cant use them to make real music. Invest your money in a better app
